FAQs

Only some of the sounds are working?

Please make sure you have the latest firmwire update on your phone or iPod touch as the iPhone app requires OS version 3.1.2 or later to work effectivly

Why do both the treble and bass sound the same?

Please try connecting the iPod touch or iPhone to a speaker or headphones to get the real dhol sound. The speakers on the iPhone don't output a low frequency well.

The App doesn't output any sound?

Please reload the app or download it again if this happens

How do you play the Dhol on the Dhol Nut? Will there be a demonstration?

You have to practice moving your treble finger fast to get the right sound. There will be a demonstration in the next day or so.

Will there be a Tumbi Nut or Algozy Nut? Are there any updates to the sounds

We are currently in the process of developing the next Tumbi App and Algozy app. The Dhol Nut may also have additional sounds added to it, so keep it posted to this page for more information
